Longtime residents of New Jersey, Marge and Mark Dabakian are foodies through and through. “We love to eat out,” Marge says. Which works out for both of them, since she hates cooking.
“There are lots of places we love to go, but we’re regulars at Jersey Boys Grill in New Milford. They have great specials, but Mark and I will often just go and sit at the bar for a drink while we watch the game. If we get hungry, we can always get good-quality, comforting food—whatever’s on the menu.”
The Dabakians have also been known to frequent Bonefish Grill, Craft House in Suffern—“the Mac ‘n’ Cheese is to-die-for,” Marge gushes—and Fire & Oak in Montvale. “We’ve gone there for a couple of Christmas Eves,” she says. “Everybody orders the steak.”
When they’re not out and about, Marge can be found in their Bergen County kitchen baking up decadent cakes and pies—or spoiling the couple’s two adorable dogs, Portia and Layla, with leftover steak.
