Jersey Shore Chef James Avery’s newest location is The Mainstay, the area’s premier destination for uptempo dining. As their website states, The Mainstay is a place where fun stories, great food and craft cocktails are meant to be shared. Located near the tip of Cookman Avenue, The Mainstay offers views of the Asbury scene from any of their high-top tables or lively bar. Chef Avery has told our editors that “I really wanted to create an endless summer kind of vibe at The Mainstay…and that’s what I intended to do with the laid-back coastal vibe with exciting cocktails and fun bar food.” One look at the exciting menu choices offered and all will agree “uptempo dining” is here to stay!
