De Novo is styled after the family-oriented casual pubs of Europe. Diners may enjoy an appealing and delicious menu with house-made breads, small plates, charcuterie, flatbreads, salads, burgers, house-made pastas, entrées and late-night bar bites. De Novo also offers a selection of tempting house-made desserts.
Owner Demetri Malki cherishes having a restaurant that serves as a warm gathering place for the community. He has cultivated that mood in both the bustling Upper Montclair location and newer waterfront Edgewater spot. Both offer indoor and outdoor dining. The new Edgewater location overlooks the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline.
